First of all..

Chris says:
Okay, first of all maybe you should take the opportunity to explain to our vast readership, what a six demon bag is -- before we end up on some "Friends of Satan" list.

Aaron says: Ok. Those who know Chris and I know that we share a love of many things. One of which is movies. One of the 'cult' movies between the two of us is 'Big Trouble In Little China'. It is a really stupid movie and the more I watch it the dummer it gets, however the more I watch it the more endearing it is to what we shared growing up.

In that movie, Egg Chen is a very powerful Chinese sorcerer, who drives a tour bus through China Town in his spare time. When the good guys go up against the 'Ultimate Evil', Egg gives Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) a smoking drink and tells him:

Egg Shen: It will help you see things no one else can see. Do things no one else can do.
Jack Burton: Real things?
Egg Shen: As real as Lo Pan!
Jack Burton: Hey, what more can a guy ask for?
Egg Shen: Oh, the six-demon bag!
Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!
Jack Burton: Great

So the title of the blog is two fold:
1 - Paying homage to one of the pillars of our growing up years
2 - Our lives have been like wind and fire....all that kind of thing.

How was that?

Chris says:
That's a pretty good explanation. Do you realize you spelled "dumber" wrong?
